oh the example you set and you dont even know

well hazel likes to do and say everything she sees and hears so lately i really worry about the example i am setting for my kids and others around me. today i am grateful for the strength i have had. so here's the story.... we got up and got done eating breakfast and now its time to get dressed i held 2 shirts out in front of hazel and told her to grab one, one was white with a little lace around the edges and the other was blue with stars. she grabbed the white and got so excited and asked me "yay mommy are these my garments?" i couldn't say anything at first i got choked up and told her no not yet. she seemed disappointed so i told her she wouldn't have garments until she went to the temple and she said "but mommy i did go to temple!" i told her no you have to get married in the temple then it got silly but i really think i needed to see that i have been a good example for them.

HAZELS FUNNY'S:
"Look its lightening mcqueen! he drives crazy like my daddy."

she asked to go outside i told her no because she didnt have any pants on her bum, she was holding her pants behind her accross her fanny and she said"yes i do have pants on my bum!" i asked her where did she get her humor grandpa shane? so she said " yes im a human like grandpa shane!"

MORE TO COME IM SURE!

  1. It's true these little ones have big ears and eyes trained on their mommy and daddy particularly. Miriam is always copying what we do. When I first got back from ID she had to do exactly what her daddy did. If Eric kissed me she did, if Daddy ate something she had to have it to. Does make one stop and think about what one does a little more.
